The Challenge

Understanding the Need

Questline Guild is a Virginia Beach community of streamers who raise money for the charities they love. They were launching off a Squarespace placeholder and needed a site that could sell both sides of the guild, charity partners looking for livestream fundraising programs and streamers looking to join. The brand called for something far beyond a template, an immersive game-worthy world that still loads fast, and the guild needed to publish events, roster updates, and notices themselves.

The Approach

Crafting the Solution

Designed a cinematic tavern interface built around commissioned hand-painted art, with hanging wooden sign navigation, framed quest boards, parchment content bands, and firelight glow over the dark scenes. Every component is custom, from the swaying sign menu to the quest calendar and streamer roster marquee, all hand-coded in vanilla JavaScript with strict motion and performance budgets. Decap CMS powers the roster, events, notices, and gallery, and verified form submissions flow straight into the CMS as drafts, so the guild runs the site day to day without a developer.
